2011-2012 Texas AP Broadcasters Student/Scholarship Competition
-- Entries must be postmarked by Friday, Feb. 17, 2012 --

Students at colleges and universities in Texas that receive Associated Press services, or who are interning at or working at AP member stations, are eligible to apply for scholarships through the Texas AP Broadcasters.
TAPB commits at least $1,000 each year to be given to students with a goal of entering any area of broadcast journalism after graduation.

THE RULES:

Spanish entries welcome. You must be an AP member to enter.

All entries must have aired or been posted online during 2011. All entries must be the on-air version or the online version. An entry cannot be a re-creation.

This year's TV competition is entirely online through www.betterbnc.com (Do not mail in your entries.)

-- TV Division 1: $60 per entry. Dallas-Fort Worth & Houston.

-- TV Division 2: $50 per entry. San Antonio & Austin.
