3. JUDGES for March 4-6, 2011, judging weekend in Dallas. All 8 judges that board invited have said yes (pending their final schedules).

B. PROPOSED CONTEST CHANGES:
-- MOTION PASSED. Re-wording of rules: "TAPB retains the right to keep all entries and fees and disqualify those that do not adhere to the
rules as outlined, including those that do not meet the postmarked deadline. Entrants will not be notified of disqualifications and fees
will not be refunded."
-- MOTION PASSED. Clarify in TAPB scholarship advisory that: "The applicant currently must be enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate
student at a school - in Texas-- that receives AP services, or the student must be an intern at an AP member station in Texas." Adds
graduate students allowed to apply.
-- MOTION PASSED. Clarify that freelancers at AP-member stations cannot enter on their own, even if their work was broadcast on AP-member
stations in Texas. Their work can only be included as part of a station's complete entry.
-- DIGITAL TV issues. TABLED.
Board members Thursday voted to keep 2010-2011 rules the same as this year's rules.
One more Texas AP Broadcasters contest day is pending.
-- Contest rules will move on the wire and be posted at www.tapb.org
in late December 2010. Deadline to have entries postmarked, or dropped
off at Dallas AP office, will be Monday, Jan. 31, 2011.
-- TAPB board members will sort entries at Dallas AP on Saturday, Feb. 12.
-- TAPB contest judging weekend will be March 4-6 in Dallas area.
-- SAVE THE DATE! TAPB convention: Saturday, April 16, 2011, Dallas Marriott Quorum.
